- Agronomy 365 Dashboard keys to success
Gil Farley, owner of BW Fusion, said the company is consistently leading the industry in innovation, focused on improving soil, crop fertility and nutrition.
“BW Fusion is a leader in the field of agronomy and crop nutrition. From important discussions like the over-application of phosphorus to how to cope with extreme weather, the annual meeting is our opportunity to show dealers how BW Fusion is revolutionizing the industry and how it will benefit their bottom line,” said Farley.
Finding innovative ways to do business is a big topic of conversation among farmers with soaring fertilizer costs.
Owner and CEO of Wells Ag Supply Grant Wells often receives questions about how farmers can use technology or microbes to help with rising costs. In spring 2022, the Wall Street Journal visited the farm to discuss challenges in the industry.
“The biggest topic in the industry right now is the rising costs in the agricultural industry and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Now is the time for farmers to think differently about how they do business. The place to do that is at the annual BW Fusion Dealer Meeting where you can hear from experts and connect with other dealers,” said Wells.
Most notably, Republican U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley will be the keynote speaker at the event.
As a native Iowan, Grassley began growing corn and soybeans at an early age. He grew up on a farm outside of Butler and understands the day-to-day challenges farmers face on a regular basis. Senator Grassley has earned a reputation in Washington as a voice for American agriculture.
Grassley said Iowa has a global reputation as an agricultural powerhouse and is a leading producer of crops including corn and soybeans.
“Production agriculture anchors the state’s economy, helps ensure America’s food security and feeds and fuels millions of people around the world. From the farm to the fork, Iowa’s agricultural abundance creates jobs in multiple sectors of the food supply chain,” Grassley said. “As a lifelong family farmer and only one of two active farmers in the Senate, I’m looking forward to joining the BW Fusion annual Dealer Meeting to discuss the soaring costs of fertilizer and diesel fuel, the current state of the agricultural industry, and what’s ahead in the reauthorization of the farm bill next year.”
